Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – September 2020

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the September edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, this really is a mix of everything. I always find items in this subscription that I use in my day to day life. My kids even get use out of it, not that I have any choice in the matter when they see something that they want!

This Subscription for me teams fun, organisation, and convenience. Do I have the time to shop for most of these items? Very rare! It also means that I always have some essential stationery items to hand just when I need them. It is letterbox friendly for most of you (my letterbox is too small), so most of the time you won’t need to be home for Mr/Mrs Postie.

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then click on the link to go there, or click play below to watch back on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

There are now 3 options for Subscriptions:

  1. Card Subscription – £10 per month
  2. Card & Stationery Subscription (What I received) – £15 per month
  3. Stationery Extravaganza – £110 per quarter

You can also purchase Gift Subscriptions for the gift that keeps on giving!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

The cut off date for stationery subscriptions or one off monthly parcels is midnight on the 7th of every month – if you purchase your subscription after the 7th of any given month, you will receive the next month’s box.

In this months box you’ll find

  • Wild flowers card – beautifully textured, illustrated card for all sorts of occasions – and seasons!
  • Colour Notes mauve notebook – a gorgeous A7 notebook from cult favourite Midori.
  • Paws washi tape – perfect to add a bit of humour to the next parcel you send, we hope this makes you smile!
  • Travel stickers – this year’s been a bit strange for it, but these lovely stickers celebrate the joy of travel!
  • Once upon a time bookmark – a little bit of bookish escapism.
  • And last but not least, a foxy laser cut card – a blank card which is almost too pretty to send!

Midori A7 Notebook

My favourite colour! This is a perfect handbag sized notebook, ideal for shopping lists as you can tear out the pages as you have used them. I prefer to be able to do this, and love being organised. I can even write my name on the front!

Fox Laser Cut Card

This is perfect for Autumn, and I do love foxes. I even had a fox print pushchair when Archie was little. I want to send this to myself, is that acceptable? This is almost beautiful enough to frame. Now theres an idea…

Paperwhale Wild Flowers Card

This is what they call a ‘naked’ card. As it does not use a film plastic wrap. The paper is also recycled. This is multiple use, and I already have an idea in mind for who to send it to.

Paws Washi Tape

I tend to use my Washi tape to wrap presents, as it makes them look fab with plain paper. This one would be great for sending a gift to anyone who is a Dog or even Cat lover. I know quite a few! My House is like a Zoo, we even have a pet Hedgehog here!

Once Upon a Time Bookmark

Admittedly, the time I get to read is limited. I would love to read more, but my kids have other ideas about ‘quiet time’. I am going to gift this to my Teenage Son, who is obsessed with reading and I know will make use of it.

Travel Stickers

I love these, they are actually really good quality, they have a sheen to them and are quite thick. I know I missed my Holiday this year, as a lot did. But lets dream of Ice Creams in far off places, there is always next year after all.

My Verdict?

I really love the little notebook and the stickers, they are my favourites this month. I have to say, I did miss my Stationery parcel last month because they sold out! Which is great news for Ink Drops of course. Subscribe now to avoid missing out on their October box!

I genuinely look forward to my Ink Drops delivery each month, sometimes it is nice just to enjoy useful items that I use each day, rather than spending every night with a different facemask on. If you are a Stationery Addict, then this is one I highly recommend you subscribe to. You really cannot go wrong for these prices.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Build your own section for those who want to know exactly what they are getting, or they now also do a Mystery Box for just £10! Perfect way to treat yourself!

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription! For a Sneak Peek of the August Box, click here!

Thank you as always for reading, you can subscribe via the link below, or follow Ink Drops on their Social Media…
