Latest in Beauty Review by Mel – July 2020

Thank you to Dean and the Team from Latest in Beauty for our continued successful collaboration! I know that so many of our members buy this box from our recommendations and reviews because they come back and tell us. I love that we can promote honestly and gain great feedback from members. I have always been a fan of this box and have been buying from them for years now.

Why? Because this is a fully customisable, pick your own items Beauty Box. So you will never be getting anything you will not use. Some of the boxes I have had in the past have been in excess of £100 value and I have paid just £15!!

Time to test out the treats…

Tangle Angel Brush

In all honesty, this is never going to beat the Tangle Teezer, which I have been buying for years, but I do definitely prefer it to the wet brush. I love the quirky design and it looks wonderful on my dressing table. It does brush well, but doesn’t seem to go deep enough into the thickness of my hair, and my hair is really fine. I will be keeping it though and chucking out my wet brush now.

OSKIA Cleansing Gel

This is this months ‘Haul of Fame’ product. It is absolutely wonderful! I knew I would love it, I am skincare mad after all, even worse for reading Caroline Hirons new book. This is a gel cleanser, so you massage onto dry skin, then add a little water to emulsify. Use a cloth to wash off. My skin felt beautiful. The price, well, yes it is expensive. But you do get what you pay for!

Tapered Smudge Brush

I added this to the box as a gift for my Sister who is massively into her makeup. I will be going to see her in a few weeks time and I have been putting together a parcel to take up to her. The brush looks exceptional quality.

Physicool Cleansing Gel

This will come in handy, especially as we have quite a few trips coming up this month, starting this weekend at Chessington World of Adventures. When out and about with kids, you are not always near somewhere with hand wash facilities. This is great to carry around with us and use to keep our hands clean.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave in product

I have used this a few times now, and without a doubt can see the difference this makes. You spray it onto wet hair and brush it through. Genuinely impressed. My hair was soft, supple and it did not weigh it down which is the most important thing for me. I can see why this has exceptional reviews online. I urge you all to try this out.

Earth Kind Shampoo Bar

Anyone who knows me knows that I have used Shampoo bars for years. I am currently using Ethique which are fairly pricey. I have used this for a few days now, I cannot really tell until after a couple of weeks to be honest which a shampoo bar you really need to use it for a while to see if it is suited to your hair. I will be very happy if it is, as they are half the price of my current brand and you can get them from Holland & Barratt too. If you have never used a shampoo bar, you simply have not lived. Liquid shampoo is just gross in comparison to how your hair feels after using these.

Tan Cream Discount Code

A cheeky little free discount code card which was included in the box for 25% off.

My Verdict?

Are you kidding me? You are still reading this and haven’t already subscribed? This is one subscription I tell everyone about, you absolutely MUST try it out. The value of my box is almost 5 times, and this is not a one off occasion that their boxes are worth that, my last review selection was worth over £100!. You really can find some hidden gems!
