Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – July 2020

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the July edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, this really is a mix of everything. I always find items in this subscription that I use in my day to day life. My kids even get use out of it, not that I have any choice in the matter when they see something that they want!

This Subscription for me teams fun, organisation, and convenience. Do I have the time to shop for most of these items? Very rare! It also means that I always have some essential stationery items to hand just when I need them. It is letterbox friendly for most of you (my letterbox is too small), so most of the time you won’t need to be home for Mr/Mrs Postie.

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then click on the link to go there, or click play below to watch back on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

There are now 3 options for Subscriptions:

  1. Card Subscription – £10 per month
  2. Card & Stationery Subscription (What I received) – £15 per month
  3. Stationery Extravaganza – £110 per quarter

You can also purchase Gift Subscriptions for the gift that keeps on giving!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

The cut off date for stationery subscriptions or one off monthly parcels is midnight on the 7th of every month – if you purchase your subscription after the 7th of any given month, you will receive the next month’s box.

In this months box you’ll find

  • Let’s do this list pad, for making important lists as we move into the second half of this crazy year.
  • Bright mechanical pencil, for practicality and style in one lovely object.
  • A super cute doglet card , which, perched on a mantelpiece, is the most low maintenance pet we’ve ever come across.
  • Beautiful floral stamp washi tape, which neatly combines 3 of our favourite things.
  • A delightfully vintage typewriter card, perfect for saying hello through the post.

Time to talk about the treats inside this months edit…

List Pad

With 52 tear off sheet, this will keep me going for a week with how busy my job is at the moment… I am kidding, maybe 2! I love my job and this helps me to keep my work priorities in check, my life is a separate matter entirely. This is by Raspberry Blossom, I am loving the bright coloured paper too.

Bright Mechanical Pencil

I do mainly use pens in my job, but I do like how neat you can write with a fine tip like this. Would actually be perfect for marking out my cross stitch (If I had the time to carry on with that project). My son Archie will steal this if he sees this, he is my little aspiring Artist, he is forever drawing. We have removed pens since he also decided his Bedroom wall was a canvas… I might let him have a go.

Typewriter Card

This is by Paperwhale, I have to say I am not a fan of single use plastics on cards, and this one uses a recycled envelope and a wrap to keep it in place. It is a multiple use card, blank inside so you could just send a little letter to a loved one to make them smile.

Pawesome Card

I am pretty sure that this is a French Bulldog, I could be wrong. This is also by Raspberry Blossom. I know a few people who have this breed of dog, so I am sure they would appreciate this. Watch out for a random card in the post!

Stamps Washi Tape

This is adorable! Thicker in width than most washi tape. It would look wonderful on a present wrapped in plan brown paper. I often wrap presents in this was as the gift wrap is 100% recyclable.

My Verdict?

I really love the notepad this month, I use this type of to do list pad every day in my job, I absolutely love it when I get my list fully ticked, not that I am a control freak or anything, ha!

I genuinely look forward to my Ink Drops delivery each month, sometimes it is nice just to enjoy useful items that I use each day, rather than spending every night with a different facemask on. If you are a Stationery Addict, then this is one I highly recommend you subscribe to. You really cannot go wrong for these prices.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Build your own section for those who want to know exactly what they are getting, or they now also do a Mystery Box for just £10! Perfect way to treat yourself!

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription! For a Sneak Peek of the August Box, click here!
