Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – April 2020

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the April edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, this really is a mix of everything. I always find items in this subscription that I use in my day to day life. My kids even get use out of it, not that I have any choice in the matter when they see something that they want!

This Subscription for me teams fun, organisation, and convenience. Do I have the time to shop for most of these items? Very rare! It also means that I always have some essential stationery items to hand just when I need them. It is letterbox friendly for most of you (my letterbox is too small), so most of the time you won’t need to be home for Mr/Mrs Postie.

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then click on the link to go there, or click play below to watch back on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

Just £15 including postage, delivered!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

In this month’s box you’ll find

  • The most glorious laser cut card featuring butterflies coming out of a book.
  • Adorable cactus sticky notes.
  • A beautiful A6 notebook, perfect for journalling, writing bucket lists or even gratitude logs.
  • Easter Egg pegs! Clip up photos, cards or just use them to keep your receipts organised.
  • A fab melon birthday card – bringing sunshiney vibes indoors.

Time to talk about the treats inside this months edit…

A6 Notebook

I love the quirky design of this. It has Cherries, Hot Dogs, Pizza Slices, Milkshakes, Lemons & Melons on the print. Has an American Diner feel to it. Very cute, and with a matching elastic wrap to keep it all in place. This will be used, I get through a lot of notebooks and the smaller ones are better for me to carry around for work.

Cactus Sticky Notes

I have never seen any like this before, I love anything unique though. It is the small things in life that make you smile, especially lately. I am flat out busy working from home so these will be used.

Easter Egg Wooden Pegs

It seems as though Easter has bypassed us this year unnoticed. I love this time of year and we will have to make up for it later in the year. In the meantime I will be using these to put up photos of my family who are hundreds of miles away and I am missing a lot at the moment.

Melon Birthday Card

I have used this and gifted it to my Neighbour, whose Birthday was today. She recently had a baby (at home! She is so brave!), and so I made her a box of Pamper treats and included this card. I really hope it has cheered her up.

Laser Cut Butterflies Card

This is a stunning design, it has multiple uses as it is blank inside. You could send it as a ‘just because’, especially since a lot of us really are missing those we care about. I love a good old fashioned card or letter in the post, even more so in times such as these. It is a lot more personal than electronic messages.

My Verdict?

I really love the cute notebook, this I will get the most use from, but actually this month my favourite item is the laser cut card. I have always really liked butterflies, and the design is so unique. It will be winging its way to someone special very soon!

I genuinely look forward to my Ink Drops delivery each month, sometimes it is nice just to enjoy useful items that I use each day, rather than spending every night with a different facemask on. If you are a Stationery Addict, then this is one I highly recommend you subscribe to. You really cannot go wrong for just £15 each month delivered.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Mini Subscription priced at just £30 for 3 months. There are themed bundles such as I love to be beside the Seaside (£13.50), and I Love Fairytales (£7).

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription!
