At BoXession we love supporting small businesses so every Saturday we encourage small businesses to advertise their website/page on our group. We have so many talented members who make incredible products, from handmade jewellery to running their own subscription box. I was lucky enough to receive some wonderful boxes from Candy Kiss which is owned by the lovely Brigitta who handmakes bath bombs, candles and wax melts! During lockdown I’ve refrained from buying anything that wasn’t essential so I was delighted to be sent these boxes to review – thank you very much Brigitta!! 😊
If you missed my live unboxing you can catch it here on our YouTube channel:
What did I receive?
Brigitta kindly sent two of her monthly boxes that are available on her page for review. Both boxes are absolutely stunning and I can’t express how pleased I am with the contents; it all smells so gorgeous too. You will receive a random selection of scents in these boxes.
The monthly pamper box contains:
- 2 x Rainbow Bath Bombs – Unicorn Farts & Lime and Coconut
- 1 x Soy Tin Candle – Snow Fairy
- 1 x Floral Soy Wax Melt Pot – Gummiberry Juice
- 4 x Sample Squares Wax Melts – Lavish Escape, Basil and Neroli, Allure & Ocean Fresh.
The monthly melt box contains:
- 2 x Snap Bars – Alienne & Snow Fairy
- 1 x Clamshell – Basil and Neroli
- 1 x Floral Pot – Midsummer’s Night
- 4 x Sample Squares – Lavish Escape, Allure, Ocean Fresh & Chocolate Orange
- 1 x Under the Sea Melt Bag – Gummiberry Juice
I have two wax burners that I keep in the rooms I spend the most time in. I keep an electric burner in the kitchen which I light after I’ve cleaned and wiped the whole room and in the living room, I have a tea light burner that I like to light when I’m winding down of an evening.
What did I think?
First impressions? I love the reusable tins the items are packaged in; they will definitely be reused for something else once I’ve worked my way through everything. On opening, you’re hit with a face full of divine aromas and I couldn’t wait to see what I’d been sent! All products are handmade, hand painted and have had safety assessments carried out so you can assure all items are safe and of a good quality.
I’ll start with the two bright and colourful rainbow bath bombs – how amazing do these look?? Not only do they look great they smell lovely too! I prefer to have showers but occasionally I do like to indulge in a long soak in the tub and I couldn’t wait to use these. Unicorn farts has a sugary sweet smell and turns the water a brilliant pink. The lime and coconut bath bomb brings summer to your door and reminds me of being on holiday, given our current circumstances this was a welcomed sensation. Fun, fizzy and very relaxing and I love the shimmery gold dust on both bath bombs which added a bit a sparkle to the bath water. Both bombs were strongly scented and filled the bathroom with their delightful fragrance making my soak very relaxing!
The next item was the Snow Fairy soy candle, I do like a candle in fact I have several around the house some for lighting and others for decorative purposes. It has a pretty green carved flower which I was sorry to see melt away when lit. It has a delicate subtle scent which I found very calming and I liked that this was also packaged in a reusable tin.
This Gummiberry juice floral pot was my favourite item in the pamper box. It has a mix of sweet fruity scents with a woody undertone that I absolutely adore. It has a beautiful hand carved rose embedded in the centre of the pot, and the wax melt itself is decorated with glitter and confetti. It’s a fairly decent size so I only used a small piece which manged to fill not only my living room but also the hallway with its juicy aroma.
The sample squares are the perfect size to fit into any wax burner and I received not 1 but 8 – 4 in the pamper box and 4 in the melt box. The scents I received was Lavish Escape which is a creamy vanilla aroma with notes of rich deep caramel. Ocean Fresh is a beautifully clean and uplifting fragrance with an unstoppable freshness that reminds me of clean washing. Allure smells like a famous brand of perfume, it is fresh and citrusy with floral woody nuances, definitely one of my favourites! Basil & Neroli which is composed of a citrus herbal aroma with top notes of lemon and basil and undertones of a musky floral fragrance. Chocolate orange is the last wax square and boy it is a strong scent showcasing a mouth-watering medley of melted milk chocolate and tangy orange. I am very impressed with the throw from these wax melts as they fill the whole room within minutes and even days after having used them you can still smell them! I like how colourful and pretty they are with the added glitter and confetti.
Next up are the snap bars in the scents Alienne and Snow Fairy! Alien is one of my favourite perfumes and this snap bar is spot on with the sophisticated floral and oriental accents with spicy notes! The snow fairy bar is really lush, it has a fresh, uplifting bubble gummy scent that I could smell all day.
The Midsummer’s Night floral pot has two carved flowers in the centre of the pot and smells very outdoorsy, the scent reminds me of camping in the woods or a men’s aftershave. It’s on the more masculine side but isn’t too overpowering.
I haven’t used the clamshell yet as it’s in the scent Basil & Neroli which I received as a square sample in the pamper box. I’ll save this to use another day.
Last but not least is the Under the Sea bundle in Gummiberry Juice. This bundle is definitely my favourite item in the box as it’s just so stunning and incredibly detailed. As wonderful as they smell I’ve not used any of these yet, as they’re much too nice to melt!

Brigitta kindly sent two of her monthly for review, both boxes are absolutely stunning and I can’t express how pleased I am with the contents; it all smells so gorgeous. The scents are strong as well as long lasting and the throw on the wax melts are brilliant! I think the amount you receive in the boxes is an absolute bargain and you can tell that Brigitta has a very artistic flair from the detail she puts into her work! If you’re not ready to commit to a subscription she also has an online shop that you can buy products from so, you’d still be supporting a small business.
