Roccabox Review by Mel – January 2020

For any of you who watch my unboxing’s or read my reviews, Roccabox is a box I am kindly gifted every month by Tia, founder and CEO!

A huge personal Thank you to Tia and her team for continuing to send this to me. I love to support small businesses, I am almost as passionate about that as the boxes themselves! I love the new eco friendly and recyclable box design, every month has different quotes and slogans on…

The inside of the lid has the quote ‘The Beauty Box that’s more than just skin deep’. The great thing about subscription boxes for me is that they are a treat to ourselves that we DO deserve. Roccabox is affordable, and will bring a smile to your face when delivered.

Speaking of delivery, this comes via Royal Mail, and is always covered in a durable pink mailing bag to protect it from the elements. The bonus of this is I recognise that pink bag and know what treats have landed straight away.

If you missed my unboxing, you can either watch it back on our Facebook Group or by clicking play below on our YouTube Channel…

How much does it cost?

A monthly recurring subscription costs just £10 plus £3.95 postage!

You can buy a 3, 6, or 12 month upfront too.

What is inside the box?

Total Box Value = £42.88!

I still don’t know how they manage it? 4 Full Size products, 1 travel size, and the box value is over 4 times what you pay!!

Time to test out some of the treats from this months edit…

Bang Beauty Blush Brush

Such a cute little brush, perfectly sized to team up with the Blusher. This really is an on the go pop in your handbag style brush. You can add a little sweep to your cheekbones for everyday use and a daily makeup look.

Dirty Little Secret Exposed Jelly Blush

The colour of this really suits me. It is a really good match for my skin tone. If you watched my live unboxing you will have seen me hold it up. It smells so sweet, it is a jelly formulated product but I have never heard of anything like it before. It is also a new brand discovery for me too. Really happy that they included the brush to compliment this item too.

BeautyPro Brightening Collagen Mask

I have had a few of BeuatyPro’s masks so I am more than happy to use another. They are very light masks, really easy to stick on. I definitely was in need of a Vitamin C boost after going back to work this week following a nice 10 days off over Christmas. Vitamin C is perfect for dark circles!

Daily Concepts Mother of Pearl Sponge

I remember receiving the charcoal one of these in an earlier box last year. I really did like it and the little hanging string so I could leave it in the shower. You can use this pretty much anywhere. I do love to exfoliate my face, I am borderline obsessed with ridding any dry skin. This is my favourite item in the box this month. It is gentle yet abrasive enough to make a difference.

St Tropez Purifying Face Mist

I haven’t used this product yet, but I can definitely see how it has a place this month. We are all pasty and pale after spending too much time indoors and not seeing the daylight, well I know I definitely have. St Tropez products are usually excellent so I look forward to giving it a go.

My Verdict?

What a great start to 2020 Roccabox! I also noticed that they were featured in Grazia as one of the best Beauty Boxes to buy, I wholeheartedly agree. I really liked the Daily concepts sponge and the face mask. I have always leaned towards Skincare but I imagine for others the Blusher and Brush combo were the stars of this box.

At £10 a month, this is one of the best boxes on the market. It is a pocket money priced treat box that offers the excitement of surprise. What are you waiting for?

If you are a member of the BoXession Group, you will know that you can swap or sell any unwanted items from Subscription boxes, so make sure you join us. Be warned, it may cause addiction haha!
