Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – December 2019

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the December edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, this really is a mix of everything. I always find items in this subscription that I use in my day to day life. My kids even get use out of it, not that I have any choice in the matter when they see something that they want!

This Subscription for me teams fun, organisation, and convenience. Do I have the time to shop for most of these items? Very rare! It also means that I always have some essential stationery items to hand just when I need them. It is letterbox friendly for most of you (my letterbox is too small), so most of the time you won’t need to be home for Mr/Mrs Postie.

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then click on the link to go there, or click play below to watch back on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

Just £15 including postage, delivered!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

What is inside this Month?

  • The sweetest festive pop & slot scene – a beautiful addition to your festive decorations which you’ll use year after year.
  • A reindeer pencil with antlers – one to keep you smiling long into next year.
  • A woodland scene laser-cut card, perfect for seasonal good wishes & sending love through the post.
  • Christmassy paper tape for those last minute parcels and brightening up your envelopes.
  • A set of thank you notelets, for those little notes of gratitude after the madness of Christmas has passed.

Time to talk about the treats inside this months edit…

Christmas design Paper Tape

I am super organised this year and wrapped all of my presents weeks ago. I am wondering now if I can just buy myself a present and wrap it simply to use this cute tape. Paper tape is so much better for the environment than the plastic kind too.

Reindeer Pencil

This has Archie’s name all over it. As soon as he saw me taking photos he asked ‘Is it for me?’, I knew I would have no chance. He loves pencils and is forever drawing and writing. He is very happy with his gift.

Pack of Thank You Notelets

I use thank you cards a lot, or if I run out I use blank design cards. These will be undoubtedly put to use. They are very high quality too. I often make beauty boxes up for people and pop little cards inside, so I am a fan of miniature cards I can fit inside.

Woodland Themed Laser Cut Card

I love laser cut cards. They look so elegant. This one I think I will gift to my Niece as I am travelling North to visit family for the weekend. I have not seen her in a while and this is definitely cute enough for an almost 6 year old.

Winter Garden Pop & Slot Scene

Now isn’t this just stunning. I love that it is such a quirky and unique decoration. It will look beautiful on my fireplace. I will be sure to take some photos and put them up on our Instagram for you all to see!

My Verdict?

My favourite item from this Months edit is the Festive Pop & Slot Scene. What a truly beautiful addition that I was not expecting. I love that I can use it time and time again too.

I genuinely look forward to my Ink Drops delivery each month, sometimes it is nice just to enjoy useful items that I use each day, rather than spending every night with a different facemask on. If you are a Stationery Addict, then this is one I highly recommend you subscribe to. You really cannot go wrong for just £15 each month delivered.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Mini Subscription priced at just £30 for 3 months. There are themed bundles such as I love to be beside the Seaside (£13.50), and I Love Fairytales (£7).

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription!

Thank you as always for reading, you can subscribe via the link below, or follow Ink Drops on their Social Media…
