This is now the fourth time I have been lucky enough to review this for Boxession and hopefully not the last either!
If you are not familiar with Latest In Beauty, they are a box for those who like to know what they are getting every month, as you get to choose your items. They also have limited edition collections with different brands and collections of their best sellers too!
The box came via royal mail, wrapped in an outer postage bag to protect the box inside.
This month’s theme is ‘Pamper Time’.
If you missed my unboxing of this box, you can catch it here on our YouTube channel (and subscribe if you haven’t already!):
Onto the contents then! I chose 6 items for this box (I will discuss the different options and prices shortly) and tried to choose all cruelty free items too.
The first item is Nexxus Encapsulate Hair Serum. This helps to moisturise my hair without weighing it down. I have a lot of hair and making it feel weightless is important, as is keeping it healthy. I love the texture of this as well, it looks like caviar/frog spawn. It smells amazing and makes my hair super soft and shiny. I got this back in July and had run out, so perfect timing!
The second item was from a brand I have been dying to try for a while- Pai Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil. This is a brand new product in their range and is a decent sized 10ml tube, so more than enough to give it a good old try! This is certified organic, palm free and is boosted with Omega rich rosehip oil to nourish delicate skin. You basically massage it into dry skin and then rinse with water! It is said to be great for those of us with sensitive skin to help remove every last trace of makeup with little effort, without stripping all the goodness from your skin. It lifts away the day’s impurities and leaves skin looking radiant. I have heard a lot of good things about this brand, so I have this as my next cleanser to try!
The next item is from a brand I am familiar with and have used a few items from in the past- Green People Soft Buff Skin Exfoliator. This is certified organic and uses 92.6% certified and organically grown ingredients. It comes in a 10ml tube, so again, a great size to get a feel for the product. It helps to exfoliate, refine and smooth the skin and helps to delay the signs of ageing. I have always been impressed with Green People products and this is no different- I am fast approaching the last year of my 20’s (how did that happen?!) so any help I can get to keep my skin looking young for as long as possible will always get my vote!
The fourth item is another brand I have been dying to try- True Skincare Avocado and Evening Primrose Facial Oil. It is in a cute little 2ml bottle, and as facial oils are so rich, that should last a few applications as you don’t need to use as much. It is certified organic and has the leaping bunny logo, meaning it is certified Cruelty Free by Cruelty Free International. It is also 100% natural, which is my favourite kind of beauty. I love this facial oil, they are one of my favourite skincare items anyway, but this feels light, applies and sinks in well and nourishes my skin to leave it glowing! Very impressed!
The fifth item is from a brand I had never heard of- Voya Facial Cleansing Milk. This is an Irish brand and contains 81% organic ingredients. It removes surface dirt and impurities and has an extra mild formula, so perfect for sensitive skin. It cleans away makeup and leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised. This is actually made from hand harvested seaweed! I have tried cleansing milks in the past, but not this one. If you caught my live unboxing, you will have seen me test this on the back of my hand, and I was so impressed with how soft that patch of skin was after! Some cleansers can feel drying, but not this! Love it!
The sixth item, ahh, what can I say? I love this brand, as most of you will have figured out by now if you are a member of our group. Dr Botanicals Cocoa and Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask. I already have one of these, but you can never have too many- trust me on this! They are cruelty free, vegan and 100% natural. It contains coconut oil, which is high in antioxidants and fatty acids that work to restore, hydrate and protect the skin to leave it revived, no matter how tired! You smooth a thin layer over the face after cleansing and toning and leave it for 5-10 minutes before washing off. You only need to use it once a week too, so it lasts a while!
So with this box, you have 3 different options:
- Beauty Novice- 3 items £9 per month or £16 for a one off box.
- Beauty Enthusiast- 6 items £15 per month or £22 for a one off box.
- Beauty Guru- 9 items £18 per month or £25 for a one off box.
All boxes come with free postage and packaging.
This was my fourth Latest in Beauty box (I know!), but I love the concept- you know exactly what you are getting and will never be disappointed with it. There is a new item added every day at midnight so there is always loads to choose from and I had trouble only choosing 6! Once things go out of stock, they are gone, so you need to be fast! I also have to say how quickly it arrived after I had ordered too- a matter of days! There are definitely savings to be had here, as a couple of the items I chose were worth more than the box costs!
