Latest in Beauty Review by Mel – September 2019

Thank you to Dean and the Team from Latest in Beauty for our continued successful collaboration! I know that so many of our members buy this box from our recommendations and reviews because they come back and tell us. I love that we can promote honestly and gain great feedback from members. I have always been a fan of this box and have been buying from them for years now.

Why? Because this is a fully customisable, pick your own items Beauty Box. So you will never be getting anything you will not use. Some of the boxes I have had in the past have been in excess of £100 value and I have paid just £10!!

I love the new box design, this months edit says ‘Backstage Beauty’. Both Nazia and Gemma have been reviewing these too, you can check out their reviews just by searching ‘Latest in Beauty’ on our Website.

If you missed my live unboxing, you can watch it back either on our Facebook Group, or by clicking play below on our YouTube Channel…

So what did I choose?

Total Box Value = £78.75!!

That is a huge saving of £63.75!

You have 3 options with a LIB subscription:

  1. Beauty Novice – 3 items with free P&P £9
  2. Beauty Enthusiast – 6 items with free P&P £15
  3. Beauty Guru – 9 items with free P&P £18

There are usually around 150 items to choose from, with a new item added daily. You are literally spoilt for choice!

You can cancel your subscription, upgrade or downgrade. This makes this box fully flexible and pocket friendly.

Time to test out the treats…

Dr Botanicals Coffee Superfood Renewing Facial Exfoliator

I suspected I would love this, but not how much. It smells good enough to eat! It has just the right consistency for a face scrub and is fairly creamy in texture too. I am so impressed with this I will be buying more.

Dr Botanicals Turmeric Superfood Restoring Night Moisturiser

I have tried this twice now, I quite like that it is not too heavy. I don’t like the feel of anything on my skin and a lot of night moisturisers are just too much for me. This I will continue to use alongside the scrub.

Living Proof Instant de-frizzer

I used this today before I left for work. For once this is a hair product that DOES what it says on the tin. My hair was not the usual baby hair flyaway mess that it normally is. It is pricey, but as I got it in this box it was a steal. Not too sure if I would pay for a full size but who knows.

H2K of Harrogate Oilovme Serum

This is an oil type serum that you pat on the skin. I actually ordered the shower gel but they sent this in place of it. I am quite happy about that as I love a face serum. This is very nourishing and a new brand discovery for me. A little goes a long way!

Carolina Herrera Good Girl Legere EDP

I thought the face scrub would be the star of the show in this box, but no, it is this beauty. Not only is the bottle just the cutest thing I have ever seen, this perfume smells divine. I text my other half this morning and told him to treat me to the full size next month for my Birthday. It takes a lot for me to love a perfume and this ticks all the boxes for me.

NARS Tolede Satin Lipstick

I got this to give as a gift for a friend. It is just her colour. The packaging is very expensive looking. This is the ‘Hall of Fame’ product for this months box.

There are 2 discount leaflets in the box this month too. £20 off secret spa, and 20% off at QUIZ.

My Verdict?

Are you kidding me? You are still reading this and haven’t already subscribed? This is one subscription I tell everyone about, you absolutely MUST try it out.

I am so impressed with the value of this months selections, and 2 products in particular the coffee face scrub and the perfume I adore.
