This is now the third time I have been lucky enough to review Latest in Beauty for Boxession and hopefully not the last either!
We have an ongoing collaboration with LIB for the next few months, which we are very grateful for. If you are not familiar with Latest In Beauty, they are a box for those who like to know what they are getting every month, as you get to choose your items. They also have limited edition collections with different brands and collections of their best sellers too!
The box came via royal mail, wrapped in an outer postage bag to protect the box inside.
This month’s theme is ‘Beauty Headliners’.
If you missed my unboxing of this box, you can catch it here on our YouTube channel (and subscribe if you haven’t already!):
Onto the contents then! I chose 6 items for this box (I will discuss the different options and prices shortly) and tried to choose all cruelty free items too.
The first item is Nexxus Encapsulate Hair Serum. This helps to moisturise my hair without weighing it down. I have a lot of hair and making it feel weightless is important, as is keeping it healthy. I love the texture of this as well, it looks like caviar/frog spawn. It smells amazing and makes my hair super soft and shiny. I got this back in April and had just run out, so perfect timing!
The second is also for my hair and is an item I have tried in another box a while ago and loved- Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair. This is absolutely amazing, and I was so excited when I saw this was an option! I use this after washing and leave it in, applying it to the ends where my hair needs some extra tlc!
The third item was another hair item- Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly. I have a few products from this brand now and have been really impressed so far. I have decided that I am going to start embracing my curls, so have been trying to introduce problems that will show them rather than hide them away! I have not tried this as yet, as I am finishing off another curl product and I don’t like having too many things open at once, but I love the size of it, it will be perfect to take away with me in September and the bright packaging makes it look really cute too. I cannot wait to embrace my natural curls!
The fourth item was from AA Skincare, which is a new brand for me! It is from their essentials collection and is their Frankincense and Rose Face Toner. This bottle is a nice 50ml size, so perfect for travelling and comes in a handy spray bottle for speedy application too. You can use this as a toner or as a refreshing facial spritz throughout the day. This smells so beautiful and I really liked how much it revived my tired skin, making it feel tighter and look brighter.
The fifth and sixth items are basically the same- sheet masks! The first one is from a brand I know very well- It’s Skin- and is their Blueberry Vitality and Moisture sheet mask. I love blueberries and I love sheet masks, so this is a win win for me. I have not tried this yet- I am having a pamper morning soon and plan on using it then, but it claims to nourish, firm and brighten the skin. The second face mask, and final item in the box is by Mitomo and is their Rice Leaven Essence Mask. Rice Leaven is full of nutrients including beta glucan, rice protein and various vitamins to really leave your skin feeling loved and pampered!
So with this box, you have 3 different options:
- Beauty Novice- 3 items £9 per month or £16 for a one off box.
- Beauty Enthusiast- 6 items £15 per month or £22 for a one off box.
- Beauty Guru- 9 items £18 per month or £25 for a one off box.
All boxes come with free postage and packaging.
This was my third Latest in Beauty box (I know!), but I love the concept- you know exactly what you are getting and will never be disappointed with it. There is a new item added every day at midnight so there is always loads to choose from and I had trouble only choosing 6! Once things go out of stock, they are gone, so you need to be fast! I also have to say how quickly it arrived after I had ordered too- a matter of days! There are definitely savings to be had here, as a couple of the items I chose were worth more than the box costs!
