What I Thought:

Noughty To the Rescue Shampoo

Like a knight in shining armour, this intensely moisturising shampoo helps transform dry and damaged locks, splits, snaps and that dreaded frizz. The 97% natural, sulphate and silicone free formula cleanses without stripping. Due to the heat and lack of moisture in the air my hair has become quite dry, so I chose this product to try and give my hair the hydrating boost it really needs. This shampoo smells really lovely and has done wonders for my hair, it’s left it feeling soft, shiny and stronger – exactly what it needed!

E’lifexir Mini Anti-Stretch Marks Repairing and Preventing Cream

Containing scotch thistle extract which helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks through a dual action: increases both the elasticity and moisture levels of the skin, which stimulates the regeneration process. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby so this was a must for me to select! I’ve been using this for a few days now and I’ve noticed it making a slight difference to my stretch marks, it’s definitely left my skin feeling firmer and hydrated. It sinks into the skin effortlessly and it smells quite pleasant too.

Nexxus Nutritive Encapsulate Serum for Normal to Dry Hair

Enriched with Concentrated Elastin Protein, this encapsulated serum formula reveals healthy-looking hair throughout the day. Replenishing up to 14 days of lost proteins in just one use, this powerful serum restores hair fibres to unlock beautiful strength and movement. I was really looking forward to trying this product as I’ve heard so many positive things about it. I pumped out a few drops onto my fingertips and ran it through damp hair. After blow drying my hair felt softer, silkier and more manageable and unlike some other serums, doesn’t leave my hair greasy!

Oh K! Brightening Watermelon Sheet Face Mask

Give your skin a hit of hydration and elongate that tan with this Watermelon Vitamin C Sheet Mask. Oh K!’s Pink tencel sheet mask is formulated with watermelon and vitamin C to brighten and hydrate the skin. Like many of our BoXession members I am obsessed with facemasks! OH K is a brand I’ve used before and quite like – their bubble mask is one of my favourite masks. After using this particular mask my skin felt and looked visibly fresh and hydrated. My complexion looked brighter and there was a definite glow to my skin, the mask also smelt really lovely too.

Revlon Nail Enamel in One Perfect Coral

Revlon Nail Enamel delivers gorgeous smooth, chip-resistant colour to nails. Revlon’s exclusive silk-protein shield works to instantly help even out the surface of the nail while rising above colour to automatically smooth away bubbles, streaks and brush marks. I really enjoy painting my nails and I like to change the colour on a weekly basis so I picked this lovely coral colour which is perfect for the summer. I found this polish dries very quickly and is opaque enough to only apply one coat. It wears really well and the bottle is on the big side so you know it’s going to last a long while.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat

Complete your manicure with Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel Top Coat; an innovative formula designed to help lock-in colour and increase durability for up to fourteen days of shine. I used this in combination with the Revlon nail polish, the brush is really wide so covers the nail in one easy stroke. It glides on effortlessly to set nail polish in place for a long-wearing finish. Going about and doing my day to day activities, working, cleaning, cooking etc I was surprised that there were no chips and I still have the lasting colour and shine!

Verdict:

The products selection varies from beauty, skin care, make up, lifestyle and tools, so you’re guaranteed to find something you like and many of the items are also full size! You are able to upgrade or downgrade your monthly subscription to suit your needs. So, what’s not to love about this box?! I have brought previous boxes and I will buy many future boxes! Their collection boxes are also one to keep your eyes on as they collaborate with well-known companies to bring you the best boxes on the market for competitive prices.
