Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – April 2019

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the April edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, I will be reviewing this now every month! Check out my previous reviews on our Website, just type Ink Drops in the search bar.

This Subscription for me teams fun, organisation, and convenience. Do I have the time to shop for most of these items? Very rare! It also means that I always have some essential stationery items to hand just when I need them. It is letterbox friendly for most of you (my letterbox is too small), so most of the time you won’t need to be home for Mr/Mrs Postie. I am moving house in July, so being organised at the moment is my life. Plus I am also knee deep in training files for work, so Stationery is an absolute necessity!

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then click on the link to go there, or click play below to watch back on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

Just £15 including postage, delivered!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

What is inside this Month?

I love how there are lots of bright coloured items this month, taking the photos was a pleasure!

  • A gorgeous metal bookmark set, perfect for marking your place in books, bullet journals, filofaxes and more.
  • An elegant Birthday Card with a beautiful wooden keepsake ornament.
  • A set of tiny metallic tapes and an equally teeny dispenser – so cute and great for dividing planners or making tabs.
  • A bright colourful snappy Birthday Card.
  • The sweetest little Llama shaped eraser you ever did see. It is almost a shame to rub things out.

Snappy Birthday Card

This would be suited for young girls through to teens I would say. It is very bright and cheerful. I have a teenage Sister who this would be perfect for, she is always taking selfies, ha!

Birthday Card with Keepsake Ornament

Now this one I really like! I would like someone to send this to me please. Maybe I could get my Son to write it out to me? The keepsake on it is just so pretty! It is ivory with gold trim quilted print design.

Llama Eraser

I had a Llama pop up card in one of my previous boxes. This is just cute. I agree that is almost too good to use. I need to hide this, often my youngest son will think things are his, I can see this being the case.

Metallic Tape & Dispenser Set

I think these will be brilliant for jazzing up birthday presents. Nobody likes boring plain tape. I agree though that also using them for page markers is a good idea. My training file for work is HUGE. I need whatever help I can get to find sections.

Metal Bookmark Set

I will definitely use these. Again it is likely I will use them for my work diary, file and notebook. I have been doing various different courses and exams too. The designs are really different. I have been reading a book at the moment too (shock horror, I rarely have the time), so I can use one for that.

My Verdict?

My favourite item from this Months edit has to be the metal page markers. They are just so useful to me with my job and all of the learning I am doing. I am lugging around a huge bag with all of these files in, so I will soon have weight lifters arms too. My second favourite has to be the keepsake card though. It was a close call!

I genuinely look forward to my Ink Drops delivery each month, sometimes it is nice just to enjoy useful items that I use each day, rather than spending every night with a different facemask on. If you are a Stationery Addict, then this is one I highly recommend you subscribe to. You really cannot go wrong for just £15 each month delivered.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Mini Subscription priced at just £30 for 3 months. There are themed bundles such as I love to be beside the Seaside (£13.50), and I Love Fairytales (£7).

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription!

Thank you as always for reading, you can subscribe via the link below, or follow Ink Drops on their Social Media…
