Time to test out the treats…

Origins Plantscription Anti-aging power serum

The full size of this is a whopping £65! So I thought I would give this a whirl before committing to a further purchase. I both love it and hate it when this happens, because I have used this twice now, and I am very impressed with it. I of course need to carry on using it but so far it really suits my skin type, it makes my skin so even when I apply it. This is going to be expensive ha!

NUXE Aquabella Moisturising Emulsion

I used this on top of the serum above. I much prefer a mattifying moisturiser as I get oily skin in parts. I hate the feeling of anything on my skin too. This is the test for me. So, I wore this all day, walked about 5 miles across hill terrain in the Welsh Valleys, and this worked an absolute treat. No sweaty skin, no sticky feeling after it had been on a while, and my skin feels very nourished. It is rare I find a moisturiser I can get along with, I would describe myself as fussy when it comes to skincare. I can feel yet another purchase coming on.

SpaBreaks £10 Voucher

I live in hope that if I leave this in various obvious places around the house, the Man will notice it and take the hint. A great extra freebie to have in the box.

Nude by Nature Touch of Glow Highlight Stick

This was their ‘Haul of Fame’ product for March. I use a highlight stick from another brand. I find them much easier than a powder. I have not had chance to test this out yet as I only wear makeup for occasions, but I have used products from this brand before, and know they are good.

Wet Brush Pro Detangle

Now I am a Tangle Teezer girl, so this is stepping outside of my comfort zone. I keep losing my grip when using mine, and then throwing it across the room. I love the colour of this, and it is much easier to have something with a handle on. But I will say, using it on wet hair is not as good as my trusty Tangle Teezer which never snags and this did a little. I will keep is for bow drying and using to brush my hair dry though.

NEXXUS Encapsulate Serum Caviar

I was a bit naughty, as I knew that this was one of their items to be released, and therefore I waited to order my box so that I could get one. I use this already daily, and other products from the NEXXUS brand too.

This reminds me of frog spawn, ha! There are little round capsules in the serum. I add 4-5 pumps to my hands and run it through the last few inches of my hair. You can of course go from root to tip, this is just my preference. It is one of the best hair products I have used. I have fine hair which can we weighed down easily. This doesn’t do that, it moisturises while barely noticing you have any product on your hair. I would obviously buy this again (as I already do).

Veet Hair Removal Cream (Sensitive)

This is also a product I use frequently. I have sensitive skin, and have to be careful what I use. This is one product I find I can use on my legs and underarms, and it is effective. It does exactly what it says on the packaging, and is not too overpowering. You know a lot of hair removal creams can smell really strong, I find this mild and fragrant. It contains aloe vera which makes it extra kind.

My Verdict?

Are you kidding me? You are still reading this and haven’t already subscribed? This is one subscription I tell everyone about, you absolutely MUST try it out. Don’t forget to use our discount codes above too!
