I have been excited by this box arriving above all others this month. I have known for a short while that The Sunshine Box™ have been working behind the scenes to make their popular boxes a Monthly Subscription.
I have to say Thank you to Madeline who owns the company for asking me to review this very special ‘Gal’entines’ edit. I love this idea as I have to say it is unlikely that the man of the house will remember, despite the endless advertising in shop windows, ha! So this is my very own Valentines Gift!
What is the Sunshine Box?
It is a Monthly Subscription Box that includes a selection of stationery, home-wares, jewellery, confectionery and handmade items. Each month is built around a different theme. You can also purchase one-off boxes, a Mini Sunshine Box, and you can Make your own too. I have had some of these in the past, for myself and my Son, and they were fabulous!
So lets check out the wonderful new box design!
I love it, so bright and cheery and looks like a present arriving in the post. The box arrived safely via Royal Mail, and it is letterbox friendly too.

Ok, time to talk about the goodies…
I wouldn’t call this mini, it is actually really big. My son collects dreamcatchers and gave one to me. I can now add this to my collection. I will be hanging this over my bed.
BFF Bath Bomb
This month you would either receive a Bath Bomb or Wax Melts. I would honestly be happy with either. My boys both enjoy using Bath Bombs, I can see me having a fight on my hands over this one.
Valentines Print Card
You can send this to Gal or Guy! The funky print means you could also send a ‘just because’ love card. It has been a while since I have done something like this, we used to do it all of the time (before kids, ha).
Mini ‘Smile’ Cracker
If you watched my live unboxing, you will have seen me open this! Inside there is a party hat, and a quote which says ‘It is better to sleep on things beforehand than lie awake about them afterwards’.
I have a very sweet tooth, so always happy to see sweet treats in boxes. There are plenty, but all for me! Actually I did share some with my youngest, Archie, who has inherited my love of sweet things.
Mini Envelope Note Cards
These are just so sweet! I am going to use the ‘Read Me’ one for my other half. I will pop it in his lunch bag and surprise him. I am sure all of his work colleagues will love it too!
HEMA Tea Bags
To share with a friend! I will share with the man since he did really well this Valentines Day! I even have some fresh scones!
Babe with the Power Postcard
This is perfect for any Labyrinth fan! It was lovingly handmade by Badass Mums Club. I checked her out on Etsy, she describes herself as ‘just a Mumma doodling her way through Motherhood’. I absolutely relate to some of her work. Especially the badges. I laughed at the slogans! This is Check her page out, you won’t be disappointed.
These were handmade by Madeline! There are 6 of them in total. Perfect for decorating your planner, or even a Diary, Laptop Cover, the options are endless.
Lips Iron on Patch by Sass & Belle
I have bought Sass & Belle items before, my Sister also loves them! I haven’t quite decided where this is going yet. Lips are a trademark for me, having a name like Hotchkiss! I have my own lips printed on some of my stationery!
You’re a Great Friend Notepad
Funnily enough I spoke to my Best Friend on the phone the other day, and she really is a great friend. 25 years and counting!
‘My Girl Gang’ Pin Badge
I went through a stage of collecting pin badges, and I haven’t had one for a while. I would put them on my lanyard for work. I am applying to go back to work at the moment so I am going to add this on the one I still have.
I adore this box! Honestly it is just a box full of happiness. What is not to love? The thought and creativity that goes into these just blows my mind. Everything is different, yet they all come together. The box is suitable from all ages, from teens to grans. You could even gift items that are unsuited as they are all so cute.
I am so happy that Madeline has made this into a monthly subscription. at less than £15 delivered it is pocket change too. Support a Small Business and one Ladies Dream!
The links are all below, you would be mad not to buy one of these!
