Upplement Beauty Supplement Box Review by Mel – June 2018

When Joey from Upplement emailed me about reviewing one of their boxes, I was instantly intrigued. Lately I have been feeling very run down, I haven’t been eating the right foods or really caring for myself. My partner has been working away now for 6 months, and being a mum to 10 and 3 year old boys is really hard work. I tend to grab on the go, eat the wrong foods which are not giving me the correct nutrients.

So I recently gave myself a kick, I have been consciously eating better, meal planning and drinking smoothies to replace lunch or breakfast when I am on the go. I thought that using the supplements from Upplement would be perfect for me to add to my daily routine.

The box is letterbox friendly, and arrived very swiftly via Royal Mail. I was away the weekend it landed so it was there on my doorstep waiting for me when I got home.

If you missed my live unboxing, you can watch it back here on our YouTube Channel…

Which one did I get?

So Joey was kind enough to ask me which one I would like. I considered the 4 options and decided that the Beauty option was the best for me, but also best suited to our audience on the BoXession Group.

My Box contained 30 daily packs, which each have 6 tablets inside. They are:

  1. Biotin (a.k.a. Vitamin B7)
  2. Vitamin E
  3. Multivitamin
  4. Omega-3 Fish Oil
  5. Vitamin D
  6. Probiotics

All of the supplements are non GMO, and Gluten free too!

Ok, so I can’t price up these individually, but I did in fact do my research at a well known high street store. I wanted to see exactly how much similar products would set me back should I walk in there and buy. So here are the numbers…

  • A 30 tablet bottle of Multivitamins – £7.99
  • Vitamin E 400iu are £18.99 for 100, so 30 would work out at £5.70
  • Omega 3 Fish Oil 100mg are £11.29 for 100, so for 30 it would be £3.30
  • Vitamin D 25ug are £8.19 for 100, so £2.46 for 30
  • Probiotic 4billion cfu are £18.99 for 60, so £9.50 for 30
  • Biotin 500ug are £10.99 for 50 tablets, so £6.59 for 30

That comes to £35.54, not including shipping if you were to order online either. There is also the convenience of the fact they are all chosen to do different things, and carrying around the little daily packs for me has been brilliant. I don’t have 6 bottles clogging up my medicine cupboard, and taking them is a 30 second task rather than opening lots of bottles, re sealing and putting them all away.

My Verdict?

This is a really unique concept, ideal for those who have absolutely no idea where to start when it comes to taking vitamins and supplements. I genuinely wouldn’t have a clue where to start. The box gives you all of the information you need, and they also provide an email follow up service after you have subscribed.

I did notice how much their focus is on the customer, and their needs. This sets them apart from other similar services out there in my opinion.

Although I cannot tell you the long term health benefits as of yet, I can say that I am feeling a lot better in myself. I have actually stopped taking my pain medication as overall I feel like I have more of a spring in my step. This could be due to a mixture of things I am changing at the moment but I am happy to continue taking these to see if I notice any more obvious changes to my health longer term.

Should you wish to try Upplement, I highly recommend checking them out on their website below,
