BathBox Review by Sam – January 2018

I was so excited when I found out I would be reviewing this again (this will be our 3rd collaboration) and still its hands down one of my favourite Subscription Boxes!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Ryan from Bath Box for sending me this box to review again, and for the exclusive discount code: ILOVEBB giving you 10% off

This discount only runs to 31/01/18 though so be quick!
Bathbox sends you 5 gorgeous bath items in a carefully curated box, all the products are sourced in the UK, vegan friendly & cruelty free. If you thought it couldn’t get better than that you’re wrong! Each one has a different theme this month it was coffee and cocktails.
Being a mum and a bath lover I am always so excited when Royal Mail turn up with the gorgeously scented box, and it nearly kills me to wait to unbox it.
If you missed my unboxing you can catch it here:

So cocktail in hand let’s dive into the coffee and cocktail collection.

Lemon & Chamomile Solid Shampoo Bar
This is a new addition to the bathbox being featured for the first time. It smells amazing (reminds me of yellow jelly babies ) I seriously get the hype now!
I’ve shelled out a pretty penny or ten on shampoos to help my rebellious thick, curly frizz prone hair. This was my first time using a solid shampoo bar and is certainly not my last. It was so easy to use much to my surprise and lathered up so well with minimal effort penetrating down to my scalp with ease. My hair was left soft fresh and shiny and a little goes a very long way.

Pink Cava Bathbomb
Everyone needs this in their life. I’ve never seen anything like it! The only way I could describe it is imagine what a fairies bath would look like! It was an explosion of pink fruity cava with irredentist shimmer. It made my pamper time truly magical.

Citrus Detox Salts
Oh wow do these pack a punch, these are just what you need in January, they are so invigorating and energising. They completely woke up all my senses making me feel alive!
FullSizeRenderCappuccino Soap
What could be more invigorating than waking up to a coffee soap! I need coffee on an IV drip so this soap with its gorgeous creamy coffee scent and the cute coffee beans on top has become my go to soap. I love it so much I hide it better than my chocolate haha! I mean it’s my favourite cuppa in a soap form no one else is washing there grubby mitts with it!
Espresso Martini Bathbomb
This bomb is Coffee heaven! it’s an explosion sure to awaken the senses. Real coffee beans sizzle out mixing with the hot water for the most aromatic bath ever, leaving you ready to take on the day.

BathBox is still relatively new but OMG they have come in on the Sub Box scene with a huge splash! This box is not just another drop in the bath, just when I thought they couldn’t top it they pull out coffee and cocktails! And the most amazing shampoo bar!
This is one of the only boxes I can guarantee I will love everything in it every month! I love the fact the boxes are themed every month, it’s always such a treat to get, and is definitely needed in my busy life. This box was my saviour this month, it arrived on one of those days when you ache and just want to comatose in the bath, not faff about with long skin care routines or new make up looks. It is genuinely a must have Subscription! Honestly the only people who won’t love BathBox are those with no bath; and let’s face it they are well jelly right now.
My daughter has her own Subscription to BathBox, so it’s definitely great for the young and the old alike. This is one to watch as it just keeps getting better and better. You can tell the creators have a serious passion for baths and relaxation by the way each box is skillfully curated.
Is it worth it?
YES!!! But let’s clear any doubts away and crunch the numbers…
