Once I opened the box the first thing I saw was the delightful recipe card telling me what I would be making… Cranberry Muffins 12 large or 24 mini. I then saw the cutest wooden spoon which had the ‘All Things Baked’ logo engraved. The spoon is made from Bamboo so beautiful quality I may add. The parcel inside was wrapped in pink tissue paper. Once unwrapped the ingredients were carefully sealed in a bubble wrap envelope to make sure it was protected.

Items needed for the recipe Items received Cheapest price found

Price for all items comes to £7.18 and the Bamboo engraved spoon takes it to £8  bare in mind this is all based on my search and the prices are for the cheapest items, no postage included and individual items which may only come in a mulitpack. All things Baked endeavour to use organic and high quality items wherever possible, so while you may be able to get some things cheaper, they carefully select theirs to ensure the best possible bakes.

On top of the items you get in the box you will need:

  • 225g of Plain Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100g of Butter
  • 150ml Natural Yoghurt

Once you have all your items all you need to do is follow the step by step guide on the recipe card… which should be simple and easy for all the family.
I had my 8 year old brother in the kitchen helping me and it was such a relaxed environment with easy to follow steps.
The only thing I would say could make it better was the receipe card on the step by step instructions to have how much of each ingredient is needed to save keep turning the card over. We found out this is not a cake bowl you can lick clean after haha… So we managed to make 24 cakes and i’m afraid the flavour wasn’t for me i’m not a fan of nuts. So I had my mum taste test them she described them… hint of ginger not over powering with a nice bouncy texture, a lovely crunch of walnut and the cranberry a sweet unexpected surprise “very surprised and impressed with the flavour combination”.
And don’t they look delicious indeed…
