Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review by Mel – December 2017

Beauty In Wonderland EDIT

I am always so excited for Decembers Boxes. They rarely disappoint, and this one is no exception.
To start with the box design is a matching set to the Beauty in Wonderlad Advent Calendar, which has been resident in my house for months now as I had it on pre order the same day it was announced to be released. It is a spectacular sight, I am onto day 5 and I am so proud I have managed to not open the entire thing.
The inside of the lid has an Alice in Wonderland inspired theme, it is truly beautiful. For anyone who says ‘It is just a box’, buy this months edit and then tell me otherwise. The outside deep blue colour matches my current nail theme too!
How Look Fantastic works?
The difference with this Subscription is they are billed monthly regardless of the length of time you sign up for, so no expensive outlay to get the boxes for less.

  • One off Box – £15
  • 3 Month Subscription – £14.50 billed monthly
  • 6 Month Subscription – £13.75 billed monthly
  • 12 Month Subscription – £13 billed monthly

All of the above prices include P&P. I always like to get a further bargain, so I researched any Cashback offers and found one on TopCashback for £21 cash back if you sign up to a 12 Month Deal. Now if yo deduct that per month my actual cost for this box is £11.25 A MONTH INCLUDING P&P! Bargain !!
I unboxed it live on the BoXession Facebook group, which you can view by clicking play below…

So what’s in the Box?

  • Bubble T Limited Edition Beauty in Wonderland Bath Fizzer – RRP approx £3
  • Gatineau Anti Ageing Serum 5ml – worth approx £9.50

My Verdict?

As usual with this Box, I haven’t yet tried the products as I like to complete my review as quickly as possible. This is not a box I receive in collaboration with LF, I pay for it myself as I love it. I have asked them so many times if I can at least receive it early due to the volume of members that BoXession have, and we all love a good unboxing and spoiler before we buy, right?
I am very impressed this month by The Figs & Rouge, I already use one of their creams and I am a fan of the brand. I will be trying this out.

The Suki Exfoliate foaming cleanser smells absolutely amazing, like lemon sherbet. I will be using this immediately as I am running low on items like this at the moment. This is an ideal product for ridding those pesky dry bits this time of year.
Last but not least I love the Polaar Hand Cream. I have been dying to try this, so was more than happy to see this in the box. I know it is a highly sought after item in the group and I like to look after my hands. They need extra TLC in the winter so this is my favourite item this month.
I don’t use Bath Bombs often so the Bubble T is not really for me. I am also sad about the MDM Flow. It is the highest priced item, but if I use that I will look like Casper. I need deep colours, so this isn’t for me I’m afraid.

I will continue in my pursuit of getting Look Fantastic to work with us, you would make my year LF, come on, its Christmas soon! haha!
Thank You also for the £5 Gift Voucher, a nice touch and that won’t last long in my hands.
I look forward to seeing what the New Year brings.
Thank you to my lovely readers and 7000+ members for all of your support and love this year, it has been immense! (in a good way of course!)
Mel x
