ROCCABOX Review by Mel – April 2017

I cannot even begin to explain how excited I have been to receive this months Roccabox… I have been scouring the internet for spoilers as I am too impatient. This is their second ever box, making their debut only last month. I finally managed to get my hands on a spoiler yesterday via our Facebook group, and I have stayed in the house all day as I did not want to miss the courier delivery!
Ok, so I knew what was in the box yesterday… but this made me even more EXCITED. Some of you may know that I ran a Competition for Roccabox on a group I previously was Admin on. Since setting up my own group I have spoken to Tia who owns this company and I can honestly say she cares about her audience. Not only did she welcome bloggers feedback (mine included) but she only went and took it on board this month! Well, with a lot of years experience in Management and Customer facing roles, this to me speaks volumes.
In line with the vision Tia has for Roccabox, once again the box is built in collaboration with Gabriella Pisani from ‘Pretty Ugly’. I love this idea, so different to any of the other subscription boxes.
So, What is in the Box?

  • John Frieda – Frizz Ease Original 6 Effects Serum FULL SIZE RRP £6.99
  • Smith & Cults – ‘The Lovers’ Shining Lip Lacquer FULL SIZE RRP £23
  • Nails Inc – Gel Effect Nail Polish (one of 5 colours) FULL SIZE RRP £14
  • Crabtree & Evelyn – LA Source hand therapy FULL SIZE RRP £8
  • Kure Bazaar – The Natural Pedicure Ritual FULL SIZE RRP £4.50

Box Total = £56.49!!! (Box price is £10 plus £3.95 postage)
Well Roccabox, you have done it again, do you even need to ask if I am keeping my subscription? That is a resounding YES! (hoping for a hat trick)
Lets talk about what is in the box – THE LIP LACQUER! I keep typing in capitals as I am all giddy, I love this… I mean I LOVE IT! I am a mum of 2 boys, the one thing I will always have time for is a bit of lippie. The fact that it is a new brand excites me even more. I will be testing this out tomorrow for my Live draw of our Competitions if you want to see what it looks like on?
The second thing I focused on was the pedicure kit. This is also new to me but I am a huge fan of keeping my feet pretty and nice. I am currently wearing bright red toe varnish since we have had a bit of ‘pins out’ sandal weather up north for a change! I am using this so no swaps sorry ladies haha.
John Frieda is a brand I have used before, but not this particular serum. I am pleased yet again that the box is a great mixture of things I can and will use. This is going to last me ages too, I am sure I got 2 months out of the last bottle I used. Fab!
Crabtree & Evelyn I know of but have not tried them before. I look after my hands, I always have. Having children shouldn’t mean you can’t have a bit of ‘you time’, I am a true believer in this. For me, my treat is my painted nails. You will often see me sharing pictures on the group of my pretty designs. This means I also have to oil my cuticles and regularly use hand cream to keep them strong and maintained. Really looking forward to using this brand.
Which brings me to the 5th item. 5 FULL SIZE ITEMS! Wow, I am impressed with you Roccabox. A Nails inc polish, I love it but I cannot paint my own nails sadly. This will be getting popped up for swap or going in my charity box I am making up for Invisible Traffick on our Facebook Group.
Do I recommend this box? This is a rhetorical question… I am telling you to buy it. I will  not recommend anything I don’t think is great as I feel that is a bad reflection on me as a Blogger. I am jumping up and down with excitement over this one (can you tell yet?)
There is a discount code for this box too – 10% off your first box with the code ‘NEWMEMBER’ which can be entered at the checkout.
