Bessiebox Review by Mel – April 2019

Thank you to Nicole who owns Bessiebox for sending me this lovely Easter Themed April Edition Box to review. Now this box is not for me, but for my Best Friends Beautiful Daughter Brianna. My Best Friends Children all know me as Auntie Mel, we have just known one another that long it is the same for my boys, who call her Auntie Clare. I have 2 boys as you all know, and I absolutely adore anything girly, so I was more than happy to get to see this box before gifting it on. I only wish they had boxes like these when I was a girl!

The box arrived via Royal Mail, and was cutely wrapped in a pink and white polka dot pink mailing bag. When I lifted the lid, inside there was mint green tissue paper, sealed with a foil sticker adorning their logo. On top is a card with their Social Media Handles (links at the end) and a little extra gift in the form of an Easter Bunny Bracelet. How sweet?!

If you missed my live unboxing on our Facebook Group then you can watch it back there, or by clicking play below on our YouTube Channel…

How much does it cost?

Subscription boxes are £12.99 per month. These can be paid via PayPal invoice, or Direct Debit. Payment is due by the 30th of each month, and boxes are despatched on the 13th/14th of the following month. You can contact them via Facebook to order.

One off boxes are £14.99, these are subject to availability. The only way to guarantee a box and avoid disappointment is to subscribe!

What is inside the box?

All of the above for just £12.99? That is an amazing price!

Lets talk about the contents of this box, and then I will be posting this box on to Brianna, who will be sharing some pictures too once she receives it!

6 Pack Make your own Easter Cards Kit

Perfect for little crafters, she will be able to make Easter Cards for her friends at School. This pack includes stickers, envelopes, and even bunny tails! The cards themselves are egg shaped.

Egg Pop

This is a Chocolate Lollipop by Elegantly Sweet (Links above). The straw is made from paper and not plastic which is also great for the environment. I really did want to eat this, looks delicious!

‘Brianna’ Personalised Mug

I love the Disney styled writing on this. Pretty, pink and girly! I think Brianna will love this, and she can use the next item in it too…

The Easter Bunny Hot Chocolate Stirrer

This is by the same company as the Egg Pop, Elegantly Sweet. I checked them out and they have a large following and are very popular. In fact I think most of their Easter items are sold out. I am now following them as some of their products look amazing, and I am always on the lookout for unusual and handmade gifts. This is the type of stirrer that you use in warm milk to make a hot chocolate. The detail on it is just amazing. It has a bunny, carrot, and mini eggs.

Bath Bomb Bunnies Trio

These smell of Snow Fairy, and that is my favourite smell ever! I have the shower bars, bath bombs, wax melts and even a car perfume in this scent. I could smell the fragrance through the wrapping. Brianna, are you sure Auntie Mel can’t share these?

Easter Bunny Bracelet

Brianna is a little dot, and so I am really glad that this is the type of bracelet she can wrap around and tie so that it does not fall off her wrist. The little bunny is silver, and the card has a poem on it.

Easter Bunny Hair Bow

Definitely my favourite item, as I LOVE bows! Little Treats make so many different styles and colours, definitely worth checking out their Website or Facebook Page (Linked further up). I want an adult version (stomps feet), I would absolutely wear one, ha!

Happy Easter Wooden Bunny Plaque

This is fairly big, and is the perfect addition to any little girls room. It could be hung on a Wardrobe, door or Wall. It looks great quality too.

My Verdict?

This box is absolutely worth the money. I have seen hundreds of boxes, so I think I can judge a great box from an average one by now. I really can see this box continuing to grow. The Company is owned by one lady, whose passion really does show. I know I am always talking about supporting smaller companies, but to me the service and care is far above the bigger companies.

This box would delight any little girl, and it is not too expensive; so it could be bought as a pocket money treat too. I am told that Bessiebox are set to launch a Women’s Box, I think you should all follow them on Facebook for updates (click links below for their Social Media).

I promise to share some more photos when Brianna receives her box too, If I were you I would not hesitate to order next Month’s box, as it will likely sell out (this one has). The theme next month is ‘Chasing Rainbows’.
