Ink Drops Stationery Review by Mel – March 2019

Thank you to the lovely Carla and Anastasia for sending me the March edition of Ink Drops Stationery. For all of you Stationery addicts, I will be reviewing this now every month! Check out my previous reviews on our Website, just type Ink Drops in the search bar.

I started to get into Stationery late in life really, with the need to be organised becoming an absolute necessity, 2 kids and I was running my partners Business too. I also went back to College, and bought myself an array of pretty and useful things. I am now set to return to work in a new role as HR Manager. I am going to use these items more than ever now, so I will look forward to this delivery even more so now each month. Plus I don’t need to be home for the letterbox friendly parcel, bonus!

This Months edit arrived via Royal Mail in the usual boxelope (Box Envelope), and when you open that there is a further envelope inside which looks like this…

I have purposely folded that contents leaflet, don’t want you all getting a sneak just yet!

If you missed my live unboxing, you can watch them back as always on our Facebook Group, or click play below on our YouTube Channel…

How much will it cost?

Just £15 including postage, delivered!

There is no minimum term on a subscription, and it is simple to cancel via PayPal. You can also buy their monthly edits as a one-off via the online shop.

What is inside this Month?

Ok, lets talk about the goodies I received in this lovely box…

Balloon Birthday Card

One of my favourite things about this subscription, is the fact you usually receive a couple of Greetings Cards each Month. I moved last year and now live over 300 miles from home. So I do send a lot of cards now, and I really do get through all of the ones in my Ink Drops Box. This one is pretty self explanatory, it is unisex too which is great. Whose Birthday is it next I wonder?

‘Just hang in there’ Card

A great card to send to someone who needs a little pick me up, this is quirky and fun. I know a few people who are having a tough time at the moment; so hopefully I can put a smile on their face with this.

Kawaii Cat Letter Set

Yes! I love Cats! Embrace my inner Crazy Cat Lady! Cannot wait to spam mail someone with these. Really cute design, would love to see more items like this. I don’t think you are ever too old for cute Kawaii. I think it is important to remember to hand write things sometimes. As much as I use my Macbook for several hours a day (I am right now), putting pen to paper is personal.

Arrows A6 Notebook

Confession… I have had this notebook before. I cannot remember where I picked it up from, but I recall it was great for my handbag. It is a perfect size to grab on the go. This will be really useful in my new job, especially for taking notes in while I am learning.

‘There is always time for Tea & Cake’ Postcard

Of course there is! I love Afternoon Tea, I prefer it to a posh slap up meal! I love the fun and quirky print. One for the pinboard for sure.

My Verdict?

My favourite item from this Months edit has to be the Kawaii Cat Letterset. I am a crazy cat lady and these make me smile. I am an old fashioned pen to paper girl wherever I can be. I am going to be sending some random mail very soon!

I am a fan of this subscription because for me, as a busy Mum, all of the items are useable. It is not too heavy on just one element, it is an all-rounder. I am also returning to work this Month, my role will be HR Manager, so Stationery is now an essential item for me too.

It is definitely worth browsing their Website for gift ideas, they have a Mini Subscription priced at just £30 for 3 months. There are themed bundles such as I love to be beside the Seaside (£13.50), and I Love Fairytales (£7).

It is also worth checking out their Blog. Lots of Articles have been written by the owners of this Subscription!

Thank you as always for reading, you can subscribe via the link below, or follow Ink Drops on their Social Media…
