Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Estee from Mask Time for sending me this box to review, anyone who has spoken to me for more than 60 seconds knows how obsessed I am with face masks.
I am a huge sheet mask and K beauty fan, OK I’m a self-confessed mask hoarder and should probably attend sheet masks anonymous! I love the variety and ease of them, they have really helped me to up my skincare game so when I was first asked to review masktime I jumped at the chance and in 14 months I have always been excited to receive that pink package and never disjointed by it. I’m thrilled that Estee a busy mum took the time to create such a fabulous subscription and I have loved watching it grow. Masktime has very fast become the subscription box to get, sweeping the beauty market like a storm.
Korean skincare is a cut above the rest, unfortunately, these masks are hard to come by in the UK and highly inflated most of the time. Then there is the issue of when you find a mask some of them are not entirely clear about what the mask specialists in or even how to use it sometimes due to being written all in Korean. Mask time eliminates that confusion coming perfectly tailored to the season, at pocket money prices bringing the latest and greatest most innovative Korean skincare to your doorstep every month.
eisia Citrus Biocellulose Moisture Mask – RRP £3.50
This sheet mask from Jeisia is packed full of Mandarin Orange which has high levels of Vitamin C that’s particularly useful for brightening up a dull complexion. It also helps with pigmentation and is a potent antioxidant with gentle astringent properties that help acne prone skin. I have not tried this one yet as I’m hoarding it away for my next break out.
Welcos Jeju Natural Volcanic Mask – RRP £3.00
A mask that I am very familiar with, infused with Volcanic Ash it helps to repair and replenish blemish-prone skin, extracting excess sebum and oil, whilst also declogging impurities from the pores.
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead 3 Step Program – RRP £3.00
I love a good blackhead mask and this one does not disappoint, a revolutionary korean brand Innisfree was the first to incorporate all natural ingredients. The Jeju volcanic blackhead 3 step sheet is a 3-step program sheet to effectively remove the blackheads that are deeply rooted in the pores. It contains Volcanic scoria, which is a pure, and fairly rare, ingredient formed from lava that has a powerful sebum-absorbing capacity and washes away impurities while moisturizing skin, leaving it cleaner and healthier than ever before. A 3-step sheet that contains volcanic scoria and other natural ingredients to remove blackheads and washes away pore-clogging impurities.
- Step 1 opens up the pores to make blackheads accessible.
- Step 2 uses intensive treatment to remove blackheads.
- Step 3 tightens the pores in the area being treated.
Leaving skin clear and fresh, just try not to look at that strip in horror and amazement after I dare you haha.
Aritaum Seaweed Dust Cut Mask – RRP £4.50
This was by far my fave mask this month from the glow starter box. I spent my Friday night rocking out in a bubble bath with a glass of rose wine and this mask it was pure bliss. My face was left soft clear and smooth after the essence made with Extracts of five different seaweeds did there work the complex formula of this mask gives it a luxurious honey-like texture.
