A big thank you to the wonderful Uta for sending Jasper this box of goodies and being so accommodating! Jasper is my fur baby and very much my best friend so it’s important to me that he is happy and healthy. This box ticks both of those requirements as not only is Jasper excited to receive his very own box he gets to enjoy natural healthy treats and a doggie toy too!

To see what we thought you can watch our live unboxing here on our YouTube channel:

What did we think?

As soon as the box arrived Jasper was so excited, it was like he knew that it was for him!! The items are packaged in a medium sized recyclable box that has the A Box of Treats logo printed on the front and the website printed along the sides. The products are wrapped in several layers of tissue paper that is sealed with A Box of Treats sticker. Inside the box I found a contents letter detailing the products within.

Danish Design Seamus the Sheep

What dog doesn’t love a cuddly squeaky toy? This medium sized sheep toy is made of a soft fluffy black and white material with a hidden sounder. Jasper gets very excited every time I squeeze Seamus as he lets out a little squeak, he grabs the toy and takes him outside to throw around. My staffy cross loves a soft toy but most of them don’t last long, although he’s super gentle to begin with, but once a bit of stuffing comes out… game over! Unfortunately, Seamus didn’t last very long but the time Jasper spent playing with him he was certainly very happy.

Vet’s Kitchen Little Stars Smart Dog Treats – Chicken Flavour

Small star shaped treats that are semi-moist so are easily breakable and great as a training aid. These treats contain a single source of protein using 38% chicken, have added DHA to support the brain and are made from good clean ingredients. They contain only 5 calories per treat and the guidelines printed on the back of the pack as to how many treats per size of dog is also very helpful. Jasper liked these from the first bite he usually comes running over whenever he hears a rustle and he wagged his tail excitedly when he saw me taking them out. I think I’ll be buying more as he has been responding really positively when using these.

Green and Wild’s Fish Deli Cubes

Made from 100% responsibly sourced fish skins, they are as healthy as they are natural and great as a reward or training treat. Also acts as a good dental aid and help provide a beautiful shiny coat due to being packed with Omega 3. These natural low-fat cubes have a rough crunchy texture which not only helps remove tartar from your dog’s teeth but has a taste that they will adore as much as Jasper did! These small training treats are ideal to pop in your pocket and reward your dog for being good or to give them a little treat. It’s so good to know that there are healthy options out there to treat your pets.

Lily’s Kitchen Organic Bedtime Biscuits – Honey, Probiotic Yoghurt, Chamomile Flowers and Passion Flowers.

Traditionally baked using the finest organic ingredients, includes yoghurt and honey for their nutritious, digestive and soothing properties as well as organic chamomile and passion flowers to help with a blissfully good night’s sleep. Jasper loves these, for the past week it has become a routine now to give him a biscuit before bed and he really looks forward to getting one. He takes it straight to his bed, gobbles it up and then settles down for me to then tuck his blanket around him. These biscuit are great, they’re a healthy way to give him a little treat and also give him a good night’s sleep and I’m really pleased on how well they work.

Soopa Carrot and Pumpkin Dental Sticks

Soopa pumpkin & carrot dental sticks are a hypoallergenic grain free treat for the pet that loves to chew and made using natural human grade ingredients. They can help clean teeth and improve doggie breath and are packed with vitamins and minerals and health benefits. We give Jasper daily dentals sticks to help keep his teeth strong and healthy and to tackle the dog breath! These sticks have proven to be a much better alternative to the current brand we keep. They have gone down a treat with my pooch, and I don’t have to worry about it containing too many calories or any preservatives. Simple, delicious, nutritious & best of all Jasper loves them!

A Box of Treats has continued to impress us with their ability to provide quality products that are worth far more than the cost of the subscription. Jasper has had a fun time experiencing new treats and toys and thinks this is the pawfect box for him! Overall, I’m happy my dog is happy – good dogs definately deserve the best treats!
