Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to Kirsten and all the guys over at Inspirations Club for sending me this wonderful box to review. If you missed my live unboxing, you can watch it again here and don’t forget to hit subscribe so you never miss one again!
Inspirations Club Is a monthly box of designer fabrics in kit/project form, designed for crafters of all abilities. Kirsten started the monthly box back in 2014 after dipping her toe into the world of subscription boxes, with a real passion for quality items, and spending time on yourself.
What’s in the box?
- 3x fat quarters (50x55cm) from Science Fair by Robert Kaufman
- Fat Quarter peacock plain dyed cotton from Rose and Hubble.
- Fat Quarter lime spotty cotton from Rose and Hubble
- Fat Volume Fleece
- 50cm black zip
- 1m orange satin ribbon
- 1m orange ric rac
- 3 spotty buttons
- 2 clasps to make keyring
I decided to try and make the laptop case (as I have bought my son a laptop for Christmas, this is ideal! Are you guys telepathic?) And because he has a love for science too, I used the Periodic table fabric, and the Chemistry equipment piece. Instructions were lovely and clear to follow, I did get a little stuck and asked my best friend for help, she had me sorted in no time at all!
Inspirations club have a few different options of fabric subscription. The monthly kit boxes are either the basic package or the Truly Inspired package, both containing high quality designer fabrics and projects to get stuck into. Other fabric only subscriptions are also available with beautiful designer, and exclusive fabrics.

I love love love this kit, love the fabric and all the accessories too. My absolute fave fabric in this kit has to be the Periodic table fabric, I am a science graduate and it brought the inner nerd out in me!
I love the fact it has clear step by step instructions so even someone like me can make something beautiful!
