Footbelles Box Review by Bonnie-Jo – March 2018

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to Dinah for sending me this lovely box. When Mel asked who would like to review this, I jumped at the chance! My feet were in desperate need of some TLC and pampering (and I can handle feet haha).
The box arrived via Royal Mail in a parcel bag. Inside was an elegant grey box with ‘Footbelles’ embossed onto the box, which was wrapped in clear cellophane. The packaging was clearly thought about before being sent. The grey box is a magnetic snap shut box, inside pink tissue paper and shredding to keep the products protected. Have a look at my live unboxing to see this beauty for yourself…

So what did I received in my box…. well I shall tell you…

  • Isla Apothecary Lemongrass and Rosemary Foot Scrub 120g – RRP £11

I only used a small amount of this just as a little test to see how it works, this left the soles of my feet super soft the smell is like being in a spa! The lemongrass scent reminded me of having a nice massage and was really relaxing.

  • The Soap Shop Peppermint and Avocado Foot Balm 60g –  RRP £5.95

was quite hard to get out initially but once out the peppermint kicked out a very strong smell, which was quite overpowering so I did only use a small amount. It left my feet looking quite greasy but it was so hydrating. I’d recommend using this before bed so it can absorb into your feet properly overnight.

  • The Deep Moisturising Foot Mask with Shea nut extract – RRP £5.99

Now this was the product I was most looking forward to, but waited till last to try to get a full feel for the other products… it left my feet super soft and moisturised and I didn’t want to take them off and get back to the real world.

  • Leighton Denny expert nails Sole Pleasure Soothing Foot Cream 75ml – RRP £12

This is an unscented product; but I love this just the same! This left my feet silky smooth and was a delight to rub in. It gave my feet the moisture it must have been so desperately craving and was like giving myself a mini massage.
Last but not least is…

  • Arena Arctic Foot Spa Natural Foot Soak 100ml – RRP £7.99

I couldn’t pinpoint this scent, but it is nice… I haven’t tried this as I don’t have a foot spa and would much prefer to get the full effect. So I shall be trying this out at my mums as soon as I can. Having a look into this it is for people who suffer from foot odour, tired, sweaty or achey feet and contains tea tree essential oil to combat fungal feet or nail infections.
I will be taking all my bits with me to my mums and look after her feet for her with a nice massage using the soothing foot cream and a good scrub too (eww feet haha).

The box I received was the Luxury ‘Relax’ Gift Box For Your Feet

“Our luxury ‘Relax’ box is your monthly spa at home for your feet. Selected from out luxury range of soothing soaks, and scintillating scrubs combined to ease your soles into heavenly relaxation. You’ll receive a box with 4-5 full sized products curated to relax your feet. Many of our products are handmade in the UK, and vegan.”
This box would have cost £40 plus p&p. Total cost of the products would have been £43 without postage although you aren’t really saving a lot, but the concept behind the box is that people forget to pamper and look after their feet. The box would be ideal for people who don’t have the time to pop out and pick bits up for themselves or generally need to give there feet some tlc with a bit of a pamper at the same time. This box would make a brilliant gift.
