Anonymous Jewellery Review by Michelle – September 2017

The lovely people who make up the Anonymous Jewellery team have made the generous decision to continue their collaboration with BoXession, and I was super excited to find out which beautiful pieces of jewellery I would receive in my September box.
If you’d like to see which gorgeous pieces I received in my August box, check out my review and unboxing video:
I unboxed this month’s Box live on the BoXession group, which is now available to view on our YouTube Channel (don’t forget to subscribe)…

Anonymous Jewellery, as you might have already guessed is a fashion jewellery subscription box. One of the things that sets Anonymous Jewellery apart from other subscription boxes, is that there are none of those sneaky hidden recurring subscriptions. Once you’ve paid for your chosen subscription, you won’t be charged again, unless of course you choose to purchase another in the future. I really wish that this was the case with more subscription boxes, as I know I’m not the only one to forget to cancel my subscription and be hit with an unexpected charge. When you sign up to Anonymous Jewellery they send you a style questionnaire, to help the stylists choose which items would suit you best.
As with last month, my box arrived via royal mail in a plastic postal bag to protect the box inside, with an Anonymous Jewellery sticker on the outside. I really like the stylish lines and hot pink foiled logo of the Anonymous Jewellery box. They’re the perfect size, and mean that I can keep my jewellery looking it’s best when I’m not wearing it. I also really love boxes like this one that fit through the letterbox, so you don’t have to worry about not being in when it arrives.
Anonymous Jewellery let you pick which colour metals you want in your box, either silver, gold or a mixture of both silver and gold. As with last month I’ve stuck to a mixed tone box. I love that it’s always a surprise how many pieces I’m going to receive in each tone. This month I received a 2 piece box containing a pair of earrings and a necklace. Each piece is packaged with care in its own separate plastic packaging and displayed on a really pretty display card, meaning if you wanted to you could gift each piece separately. The little things like the cute card in each box that says “Hello Beautiful”, the jewellery care tips leaflet, and the piece of wadding in the bottom of the box really make this box stand out. Extra touches like this make you really feel like time and care has been taken over putting each box together.
When I first glimpsed the earrings in this month’s box I was initially not sure whether I would like them. I’ve never really been a hoop earrings girl, as it was always the “cool” girls at school that wore them (I was more a geek). I tend to stick to studs or dangly earrings, so the Mimi hoop earrings were really out of my Jewellery comfort zone. The addition of the super sparkly clear stones on the edge of the hoops add an individuality to them, and I received lots of lovely compliments when I wore them to work. They are perfect to jazz up your daytime look, or would look perfect styled with your LBD. Yet again I’ve enjoyed being taken out of my comfort zone by Anonymous Jewellery. Unfortunately, I managed to lose the back of one of the earrings before photographing them; however, the original earring backs were brilliant and made it feel comfortable and secure to wear them.
My favourite of the two pieces in this month’s box has to be the gorgeous Magic Rose Quartz Gold Necklace. I said in last month’s review that I love layered necklaces, and this one is exactly my style. I adore crystals and semi-precious gems, with rose quartz being one of my favourites. I love how the finding on the quartz pendant holds it secure, while taking nothing away from the stone itself. The tiny metal beads on the shortest layer add interest without making the piece too fussy, and the delicate moon and star shapes on the mid length layer are simply divine. I can’t think of any outfit that this gorgeous necklace wouldn’t look fab with. I can see this piece becoming a staple of my jewellery wardrobe.
Yet again I’m thrilled with the pieces I’ve received in my box. I’ve been taken out of my comfort zone with earrings, and the necklace is so me it’s untrue. Both pieces look stunning on their own and great paired together too. I honestly can’t wait to see what my next box will bring; because each subscriber completes a style questionnaire, you may receive different items in your own Anonymous Jewellery box.
Anonymous Jewellery subscriptions make the perfect little gift for yourself, a loved one or even split up and gifted separately. Their free worldwide shipping even means that you can send one to your friends and family overseas without worrying that the postage is going to cost you a bomb. Your box contents will always be worth more than the price of the box, which you’ve got to agree is brilliant.
